Hey UCW members-

I thought I’d beat Tom to the punch by sending out the notice- UCW will be having its Knoxville Chapter meeting this coming Tuesday, May 15th at 5:30 pm at our office, located at 1124 N. Broadway. We will be hearing reports about our recent trip to Nashville to lobby for the pay raise for all UT staff and faculty, as well as giving input on where we go forward in the campaign. On June 8 and 9 myself and Tom Smith will be traveling to Charlottesville, VA, home of our sister union, the Staff Union of the University of Virginia (SUUVA), to attend a CWA Higher Education Organizing training.
