Union Sisters and Brothers,

Tomorrow night East Tennessee Jobs with Justice will have their annual membership meeting. This organization, which meets regularly every first Thursday at the UNITE Building where our headquarters is located, has long been a staunch ally of UCW-CWA and the movement for just pay and workers’ rights at UT. This is the local chapter of the national coalition of trade unionists, people of faith and community activists.

We would like to let everyone know about this important meeting and extend an invitation for any UCW members interested in attending. I will be at the meeting as the official UCW-CWA representative. The meeting starts at 6pm. One of the main agenda items concerns how JwJ can support our ongoing efforts to win respect and fairness at UT.
