Union Sisters and Brothers,

As this year’s Legislative Session comes to a close, UCW-CWA is already starting to plan for our 2008 Campaign.

To get things rolling we will have a strategy session on Tuesday, June 26, 2007. At this meeting we will bring out the calendars and plot where on union will head over the next 12 months. But before we can get to that point we need everyone’s help. We need to hear from our members about the issues and demands that are important to all of you!

To help facilitate this process we are asking that people consider participating in one of the following ways:

1) On Tuesday, June 12, 2007 UCW’s Knoxville Chapter will have our normal bi-weekly meeting. It starts at 5:30 and shouldn’t last past 7pm. At this meeting we will break into caucus groups of faculty, staff and student employees. If you could come by, even for just a half hour, please consider attending.
