There will be a meeting of the Local Executive Board concurrent with the Knoxville Chapter membership meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. This meeting is open to all members and interested parties, including potential members!

We meet at the UNITE Here building, 1124 N. Broadway, Knoxville, Tennessee. Topics for discussion include the CWA Convention in June.

Tuesday, April 22 at 1:00 pm, in Brock Hall, room 303, we will have a very important UCW meeting.

The state budget crisis directly impacts our livelihoods and we need to come up with an action plan for our campus that involves four things:

1. Getting another delegation to go to Nashville
2. Getting our coworkers and ourselves to send in postcards
3. Getting ourselves and our coworkers to do the email action alert
4. And getting people to make calls to Nashville.

Please consider attending this very important meeting!
